Sep 2-5 RennfestThe Peachstate Region is pleased to invite all Zone 3 Regions to our 43rd Annual Rennfest, being held in the mountains of North Georgia. Make plans to celebrate this Labor Day weekend with friends and other Porsche enthusiasts September 2nd thru the 5th.

We’re excited to announce that Rennfest, a Peachstate tradition, will again be returning to the stunning Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, Georgia.
Please plan to join us for this event-filled weekend celebration during which you will also have plenty of time to relax and socialize with friends, old and new. Rennfest Chairman Bob Kuchenbecker has retooled Rennfest with some fun surprises for all!
 
Friday

  • The weekend begins at noon on Friday with Concours prep available all day.
  • Registration and our Welcome Hospitality Party will be 4:00 - 9:00pm.
  • Friday evening, you will also have an opportunity to attend a Rally Basics class followed by an Autocross Basics class.
 Saturday

  • Saturday starts bright and early with a spectacular Concours d’Elegance.
  • Judging for class awards in both “Full” and “French” will commence at 9:00am.
  • The TSD Rally is scheduled to start after lunch on-your-own.
  • Our RC Autocross and Tech Quiz is planned for the end of the afternoon.
  • Saturday evening is dinner on-your-own, after which you can choose to join your friends for a Dessert Social at the Creekside Pavilion or watch the movie LeMans starring Steve McQueen and the Porsche 917's to be held in the Auditorium.
 Sunday

  • Sunday is Autocross day. Tech inspection starts at 8:00am followed by the course walk-through and drivers meeting. First car out is scheduled for 9:45am.
  • The Social/Cash Bar will start at 6:00pm followed by seating for the Dinner and Awards Banquet at 7:30pm.
  • Monday morning from 9:00am till noon enjoy a Scenic Driving Tour on beautiful North Georgia scenic mountain highways
Registration Information

  • The registration fee for this year’s Rennfest is only $110.00 per adult,
  • $25.00 for children 6 to 15 years old.
  • This covers the cost of Friday evening’s Welcome Party, Saturday’s social/movie, The Awards Dinner, door prizes, goody bags, commemorative shirts, trophies, etc.
Hotel Information

A total of 65 rooms have been reserved at the lodge in Brasstown Valley Resort. Lodge room rate is $112.00 per night with NO resort fee. The resort also has a selection of four bedroom cottages, check with the resort for availability. Call 800-201-3205 and tell them you’re with the Peachstate Porsche Club/Rennfest when you book your room reservations. Additionally, Rennfest guests receive a 20% meals discount in the Lodge Dining room for the entire weekend.
The room block will be lifted on August 10th but will no doubt be sold out before, so make your reservation early. Additional accommodations will also be available at The Ridges Resort and Marina here, which is just a few miles east of Brasstown Valley Resort on Lake Chatuge in Young Harris, GA.

Area Attractions

In addition to Brasstown Valley Resort’s top ranked 18-hole, par 72 mountain golf course, the 503-acre resort boasts stables featuring on site horseback trail-riding. Other amenities include two restaurants, fitness center, sauna, spa, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, tennis, volleyball, horseshoe pit and nine miles of hiking trails.

Check out nearby Brasstown Bald, Georgia’s highest mountain at 4,784 feet. You’ll find rock climbing, fishing, rafting, biking and more nearby.
