What a wonderful, Spring day for a Rally School. We had a good turnout with 38 Peachstaters in attendance. The Classroom session began at 1:30 with a brand new “Powerpoint” presentation created by Bill Ibsen. Thank you Bill, it turned out grand. Since this was “dress rehearsal” (actually it was first time ever) for this presentation, it was a bit too long but we know what to do to make it shorter without leaving out important information.

The short 2 Leg Rally began at 4:00pm and by 5 we were all in Party Mode. Thanks to Kathy Baker, who presented the “munchies” and soft drinks and to Janice and Paul Phillips, who hosted us at Hardage Farm Clubhouse. Thanks also to the Rally workers, Kathy who also helped at Registration, Jack Baker, who Teched the Rally cars and worked checkpoint 1 along with Dick Kjellsen and Rod Ochs. Danny Saxton helped at checkpoint 2. Special thanks to the participants, who all seemed to enjoy the day and learned about the fun of Rallying.

Linda and Don Hand had the highest score last year and with a slight change (switched driver/navigator) finished this year’s Rally with a great score of 58 and a leap from worst to first. Congratulations to you both and also to all of the participants.
