Ever wanted to try a Rally, but concerned that you don't know the rules, and afraid that you might get plain embarrased - or worse - get lost somehow? We have just the solution for you: the Peachstate Rally School. This year's program has been totally redesigned from the ground up to make learning how to rally easy. We've designed the Rally School specifically for first-time rallyists, although more experienced rallyists are welcome, too. Find out why so many Porsche owners love the low-key competition of driving their Porsche in and around beautiful countryside winding roads that they may otherwise never get to enjoy. And find out why rallying is such a fun mental challenge for both driver and navigator, and such a fun way to spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon!

The 2012 Rally School will be held on Sunday April 1 at the Hardage Farms Clubhouse in West Marietta. In the Peachstate Region, all of our Rallies are TSD (Time, Speed, Distance) and based on the Peachstate Rally Generals (here).  To really enjoy the competition and have fun on a TSD Rally, the participants should have a good understanding of the Rally Generals and how to apply them. If you have never been on a Rally, or if you would like to brush up on the rules of this game, the Rally School may be just what you're looking for. We'll give you the knowledge and tools to help maximize your enjoyment of rallying. But be forewarned: you might get hooked on rallying!

As an added benefit of attending this school plus a couple rallys, you'll then be equipped to compete at the national PCA Parade TSD Rally in Salt Lake City UT this summer, since the rules (Rally Generals) are almost the same. Not only that, but also attending Peachstate's rally school and rally's will also give you the ability to enjoy rallys held by other PCA clubs around the nation, including the Southeast, so the school is time well spent.

The Rally School consists of about 60-90 minutes of classroom instruction, followed by "hands-on" learning in the form of experiencing a brief rally, where the rally team can apply some of the information just learned. The Rally School and practice Rally will begin and end at the Hardage Farms Clubhouse, followed by a short Q&A session and a customary after-rally party. Although we would like for you to bring your Porsche, in Peachstate Rally events, members may participate in any brand of vehicle.

Registration for the school starts at 1PM at Hardage Farms Clubhouse, 671 Hardage Farms Drive, in Marietta. Registration. The classroom session starts promptly at 1:30PM., so do allow plenty of time to arrive by 1:00pm.

• Take I-75 to Marietta, Exit at Exit 265-N. Marietta Parkway and go West.
• Cross US41, Fairground St, Cherokee St, Church St and under Railroad Bridge.
• Turn right on Polk St, go past Marietta Middle School.
• Turn right at 2nd Traffic Light on Burnt Hickory.
• Go approximately 2 miles and turn right into Hardage Farms Subdivision.
• The clubhouse is on the left in about ? mile.
