We began with a classroom session that explained our General Rally Procedures. Dick Kjellsen covered the rally terms from the Glossary and Jack Baker the Course Following Priorities. Chris Gellner covered many of the other pertinent items. After about 90 minutes of exploring the Rally Procedures, the participants set out on a short instructional rally to put to use what they had just learned. Thanks to Jack & Kathy Baker for laying out this short rally.

Ed & Jeannie Cave were DALBF at last year's Rally School and came in first
this year. Congratulations on great improvement. This year's DALBF goes to Tom
Carollo, a brand new member. He purchased his Porsche about a month ago and this
was his first ever Peachstate event. Tom, welcome to Peachstate and set your
sights to improve just as much as Ed & Jeannie Cave did in one year.
A big thank you to our Rally School workers: Dick Kjellsen, Carolyn & Bob Axt,
Cathy & Danny Saxton, at checkpoint 1. Jack Baker and I handled the final
checkpoint back at the clubhouse. Bob Axt took care of Tech, Kathy Baker and
Barbara Gellner handled registration and Kathy Baker graciously provided the
after rally snacks. Thanks to Paul & Janice Phillips who provided the Hardage
Farm Clubhouse once again. They also invited all Rally School participants back
to their home for hamburgers and chicken on the grill. Many of us accepted their
gracious offer, so the party moved from the Clubhouse to their home. Thanks for
your generosity.
Hope to see you at the Spring Rally on April 20, put on by Jack & Kathy Baker.
Watch for more information about this Rally in next month's Presse or
here on the Web site.
Chris & Barbara Gellner your Rallymasters
