A very interesting article about Hal Corbin's 2006
911 Club Coupe appears in the May issue (36) of "Total 911".
Peachstate members Ben Przekop and Bill Ibsen did the writing and
photography, respectively, and the article tells the story about how this
extremely limited edition (50 cars) 911 came to be produced, and how Hal Corbin
was able to get one of them. This car was produced in honor of the Porsche Club
of America's 50th Anniversary in 2005, and Porsche has never done something like
this for another car club. For those interested in the history behind this car,
or in some of the history of our own Peachstate Chapter's involvement with PCA
national, or for those just interested in beautiful, rare cars, this article is
a must read!
The May issue should start appearing in local Borders and Barnes and Noble
stores around the end of April (Back issues will be available from the
magazine’s web site, as well).
