Autocross School
Saturday April 12 & Sunday April 13, 2008
Got a new Porsche and want to play with it hard, but don't want to risk tickets or damage? Been thinking about attending a track event but have some trepidation? Want to try autocross but are afraid of looking silly in front of all us "experts" who pretend to know what we're doing? Come to our autocross school. You'll find that our so called experts were beginners once too who enjoy helping newcomers to our sport.

Our autocross school is in three parts. Part one is a classroom session presented by aforementioned experts from autocross and track events. This will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 am until noon at club member and racer Kerry Singley's NAPA / Premier Service Center in Alpharetta. Parts two and three of the school will be the next day at Six Flags White Water in Marietta with driving exercises from 8:30 am until 11:30 am, followed by participating in the real thing, Autocross #1, which will start at 1:00 pm.

Students can take what they learned in the Saturday classroom sessions, try those things on Sunday morning, then graduate to the real autocross environment that afternoon, all with as much help as you would like from more experienced members of the club.

School is free. Autocross #1 is $30 each driver or $50 for two family members.

You must register separately for school and Autocross #1
