Peachstate PCA Drivers Education
2008 - Road Atlanta, Braselton, GA

We want to thank all the worker volunteers and entrants for making the October Drivers Education event one of the most successful ever. With over 165 entrants, the event graduated multiple drivers to the famed “solo” status and several folks to the “advanced” level. Overall a very successful school. With the assistance of the folks participating in the Charity Touring Laps on Sunday, we were able to donate $1500 to the designated charity for the weekend; The Tommy Nobis Center.

A Special thank you goes out to the SCCA corner and grid workers for keeping the event safe and the team of both entrant and volunteer instructors that make the school so widely respected.

Our region is fortunate to have access to this great circuit originally constructed over 35 years ago. Road Atlanta is world famous among competitors and fans as one of the finest road circuits in the world. This great road course was refined in 1998 and 1999, now provides many challenging driver training areas. Additionaly, the circuit was repaved in January of 2007.

Peachstate events will utilize the Grand Prix layout, with the twelve turns and elevation changes too numerous to mention, this 2.52-mile circuit has something special for every driver no matter what your skill level. Come sample the same course used for this Fall's Petit Le Mans.
