Test & Tune: The Road Atlanta Motorsports Group will be holding an open Test & Tune day at Road Atlanta on Thursday, april 5.
The Test & Tune day is organized and managed by Road Atlanta and is not affiliated with Peachstate Region PCA or the Porsche Club of America.
The Test & Tune day is not a Porsche Club of America or
Peachstate PCA sanctioned event. It is available to all SCCA, Vintage,
and PCA Club
Race license holders. This event registration will be open enrollment,
therefore reservations are not necessary - you can simply register
onsite at Road Atlanta Thursday morning when you arrive; no worries
about selling out for that day. Road Atlanta will accept any licensed
driver,
i.e. Club Race license etc.
Registration for the T&T will begin about 5PM on Wednesday, March 29. Paddock access for rig parking will also begin at 5PM, but possibly sooner depending on arrangements with the party renting the track on Wednesday. We will update this site as soon as this is confirmed. Registration will be open until 7PM Wednesday and will reopen at 7AM on Friday, until things slow down. The cost for the T&T day will be announced soon. Road Atlanta will offer half and quarter-day rates, as well.
Club Race Registration will open the afternoon of the March 30 at around 4PM.
Tech Inspection will open as normal, at 5PM.
Note: due to the Test & Tune Day, only Test & Tune entrants may
enter the Road Atlanta Facilities before 5PM. If this changes, we will
advise accordingly.
Chalk Talk by David Murry: The traditional Chalk Talk will be delivered Thursday at 5:30 PM in the classroom (located in the base of the Road Atlanta control tower). This informational meeting is certainly for Rookies, and for those who may not be familiar with Road Atlanta. Once again, we are proud to announce that David Murry will be providing coaching tips at the Peachstate Club Race. Road Atlanta is David's home track and he has vast experience here, so plan to attend his PowerPoint corner-by-corner track orientation on Thursday at 5:30PM. This alone may be worth the price of your entry fee!
Orientation Meeting: The National Club Racing Orientation Meeting (mandatory attendance for required attendees) will follow David Murry's Chalk Talk and will be held on the second level of the Road Atlanta control tower.
