Please register early to guarantee your spot for what is expected to be a very popular tour to the Tech Session/Cars and Coffee/Gathering being held at the 944 Barn in Blairsville GA.

Note that if you wish to go on your own to the Tech Session and NOT participate in the tour you need to register for that event here

For the Driving Tour:

Arrive by 8:30am at Publix Supermarket Dahlonega Village with a full tank/charge and an empty bladder and complete the sign-in/waivers process by 8:45am. There are many coffee shops, breakfast spots and gas stations within a couple minutes of the start. After a comms check and an all-hands safety briefing, we will depart in groups in 5 minute intervals beginning at 9am for our rest stop at the Valero in Blairsville. The tour's second leg finishes with a scenic loop around Nottely Lake, northeast into NC and then back throuth Young Harris to the 944 Barn in Blairsville The groups should plan to arrive at the Barn around 11:30.

Cost is $20 per vehicle and you are on your own for lunch. Many will go to Jim's Smokin' Que, just a 10 minute drive from the Barn. If BBQ isn't your thing then I recommend Vincent's Coppertop (American), Nani's (Cuban), and Hole in tthe Wall (all-day breakfast) in Blairsville.

Approximately one week before the tour, you will receive an email with important info - your run group assignment, radio comms channel, schedule reminder, any last minute notices, and the detailed tour route. Peachstate uses the Ride With GPS app for our tours providing visual and voice

navigation. PDFs of the route providing turn-by-turn directions will also be provided.

Please bring an FRS radio (not required but STRONGLY SUGGESTED) to stay in touch with group comms during the drive.

After you have enjoyed the morning drive, enjoy the tech session and then join others for lunch at one of the recommended locations. Google Maps will get you home.
