Peachstate's first 2011 autocross will be held at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which has about 15 acres of exciting, flat parking lot to test your driving skills! 

As your new Autocross Co-Chairman, I am hoping for a large turnout so we will have the first car out around 10 am. Please arrive at the track no later than 9 am so that you have plenty of time to walk and memorize the course. It will be a very fast, wide-open course, so you it is best to get acquainted with the layout before driving it.

Registration costs $30 per car, and can be completed online, here at clubregistration.net. If you had a car number last year, no worries, that assigned number still belongs to you.If you do not have one,  then we will assign you one.

We need about 100 registered cars in order to break-even on our cost. All Porsche Club members need to register ASAP, because if we do not have 100 Porsches registered one week prior to the event, we will have to open registration up to the various car clubs in Atlanta to reach our 100 car limit. We want to go out and have fun, but we don't want to lose our shirt doing so!

A few miscellaneous details: As usual, we will have a PortaJohn restroom on site. There are several places to get some lunch close by, so bring some cash or pack a lunch. Bring lots of water, because it will likely be hot! You'll drive a lot better hydrated than dehydrated, so start drinking a day or two before the event, in case its a steamer out there.

Porsche Club members: remember that we have a our usual annual competition in each class for a year-end trophy. You need to attend at least 4 events to be eligible for the year-end trophy. As for trophies at each autocross, this year we are going to hand out special ribbons for First and Second Place. However, the year end trophies will be very special.

So come out and have some really fast fun!

9:45 to 10AM Drivers Meeting
10 AM First car on the line

This year we will try to revive our old tradition of meeting at Hooters for a drink and wings after the event. Y'ALL COME!!!
